The way I see it, the main reason for boarding earlier is to have a place for your bag. Checking your bag defeats the purpose of boarding earlier. I see no other benefit to boarding early in economy.
The net effect of this would be to piss off the people in group 5
This group includes people in Premium Economy, Some AA credit card holders, and some corporate accounts
