Stayed at the london west hollywood 7/1-7/3 (two separate FHR)
- Not required to check out but had to come get new keys between the two stays. Both $100 credits were applied correctly.
- Was upgraded to the vista room level, which was quite reasonable. I don't love the room layout but for LA it's big and was in good enough shape. Balcony was nice, but it's funnily low enough that you can see people hanging in their apartment pool
- Breakfast, there is a free and decent buffet, plus you get an additional $60 or whatever to spend for two folks on the menu. It was worth it - had a gorgeous avocado toast delivered and you could order fancy coffee drinks. No complaints here whatsoever
- $100 resort credit worked at the pool and at the bar in the lobby. Bar drinks were really top notch and cost about 2/3rds of what they would have been at the Waldorf. Hotel pool was great, although service could have been a touch better
It's not the Waldorf in terms of service, but I felt I received good value here and would stay again. FHR was absolutely handled well here.
Also, IMO, unless you plan to spend a ton, don't book a cabana, just get some chairs. No reason to pay the fee. There are plenty of umbrellas and places to put drinks and food.
