A 25K on a Standard fare can clear as early as 4 days out. Bid upgrades clear around T-72 IIRC, but there have been some reports of variability. But you seem to be under the impression that the "bid clearing system" knows who's waitlisted for an eUp, and vice versa. I do not think that's correct.
