I am thinking of applying to diversify my points in different programs and to take advantage of the 2x points for $1 on everyday spend. Currently use Chase FU for all my non-bonus spend but I have accrued a pretty high Chase UR balance and would thus like to start earning on another card.

Based on my research the Venture X (or the Venture) would fit the bill. One odd thing I did notice that I would like to get clarification on is the transfer partners. I was looking at Wyndham and I do not see them listed on the Capital One site as a transfer partner but they are pretty much mentioned everywhere (blogger posts, etc.) . Is there a reason for that? New partner? No longer a partner? I know Wyndham might not be the best transfer option but they have awards available at 15k per night for a hotel in Europe I want to stay in that's over $400 a night so the sign-up bonus alone would get me 5 nights.
