Plenty of TAP availability currently but I see the helpful link provided elsewhere suggests "London to/from Portugal where no same day BA alternative".

Given < 14 days notice we'd be returning home some 8 hours earlier than wanted so compensation should apply (I think) BUT can this be used to leverage an XFR onto TAP or will we have to go the tedious route of booking ourselves and trying to reclaim?
Has your flight been cancelled yet?

If it is then I imagine the remaining seats on the 0700 will go quite quickly and then there will be no same day options and that opens up the TAP policy. I suppose the issue comes if you are auto-rebooked.

However given all that’s happenning I wouldn’t assume that just because your flight is not on sale that it won’t operate. All LHR short haul flights should be showing the red risk of disruption banner so that doesn’t mean much either.
