Exactly. I have no idea where to obtain this information whose fault it was. Can I get this information if I call BA helpdesk? I am afraid they might not tell me or is there even a possibility they might lie/say it was cancelled because HAL forced them to reduce flights?
I have literally zero experience with MCOL/CEDR stuff so I really do hope it was BA fault and avoid that.

So in other words a taxi of up to £50 is usually allowed specifically for that trip, but maybe car hire would have been cheaper? In general terms BA expects people to use public transport, given that BA is also public transport.
I see what you mean with the public transport point. I just checked the Uber prices and unfortunately it is way cheaper than rental. I am not really sure what to do now

If I should try to claim it anyway and try to explain, that I would have to take taxi from airport to hotel after returning the car on the original date and than take another taxi for my flight and it would be complicated? Or is there a chance that I will upload the receipt from rental car agency but also upload the printscreen of uber cost and try to claim this?
