I now belong to this new group of passengers experiencing the new service offered by Air France... "luggage not there upon arrival"
I was flying from HAJ to CDG then CDG to RNS and the luggage was not there when we landed at 10:20am. When it was finally handled by the dedicated service at 5pm, i was announced that it would be delivered around midnight... well, I was waiting all evening until the guy called me while parked just in front of my door. At least he didn't ring the doorbell to wake the whole house up...
I was so relieved until i discovered that some valuables were missing inside my luggage (worth 900 euros).
I immediately made a claim and it will be 3 weeks since it happened and still no response.
On top of that, my flight from CDG to HAJ was delayed, so was the return flight from HAJ to CDG.
A few years ago, I would have received a response within 2 days and some miles as a compensation. Nowadays, the excuse is to blame covid for offering not even poor but terrible customer experience...
Well, if someone has an idea to reach Air France and have my claim processed, please let me know. I have contacted them by phone, with Facebook Messenger, with Twitter. They just don't care...
