For once, I felt that I did not get the short end of the stick with the CX lounge being also the "official" lounge printed on the boarding pass.
Here's some recent photos from the CX lounge. I had the breakfast menu as I was on the 10.20 am service. No complaints from me. The Fast Track queue was slow and took 30 min. The normal queue was flowing smoothly and people were walking through it. I think it was much faster than the Fast Track. The problem was families with 5 suit cases with million liquids, complete unpreparedness, and babies that were blocking both machines in the Fast Track and nobody was moving at all, while the normal queue had c. 5 machines all working well with no babies. Next time I'll examine carefully which queue to pick at LHR. It's always just a matter of decision to send the babies in front of the normal security lanes, too, to block those machines.
