For goodness sake, don't stay at the Park Hyatt. Its great if you like sleeping on a rock. I'm like you. I want soft but not so soft I'm swimming in it.
On another note, I'm done staying here after what they did with free nights. Absolutely disgusting and will be taking my money and points elsewhere.
They've shown me how they view loyal customers and I need see no more.
Thank you for your valuable kind informative feedback with both focal points.
Very good to know so I can decide if its worth proceeding
On a side note I have a good relationship with the Park Hyatt New York yet couldn't agree more with their disappointing
cement like bed with otherwise outstanding linens and pillows
They have been really good to me despite the negative feedback from some others.
Should you ever wish to return to the Park Hyatt New York I am willing to reach out on your behalf and arrange through their
management team a foam mattress topper which makes the bed a dream
They can't do this for everybody.I personally ordered & paid for the bedding so hotel guests like myself could stay there comfortably.
One of the reasons I love the new Hilton Canopy brand beds is they are like the first generation W and Westin Heavenly beds circa 1999!
Though you may find this too soft
They have a guaranteed customer with me and their upgrading has been 100% to suites to date without ever asking!

Best new brand in decades minus the mediocre food and beverage sadly
