Yes. Not sure that isn't a bit of "bait and switch," though, since the AMEX FHR website lists it as a guaranteed perk at $100 USD. I don't think I'd care so much it if were just one stay, but we have six nights booked a various properties in Western Europe, and all are valuing the $100 credit at an abysmal rate. Probably one of those, "until enough people complain we'll keep doing it" kind of things. Sigh.
It is interesting that various properties are all using the same rate (another data point: my parents just stayed at the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera on FHR and they also had an 85 EUR credit) ... I wonder if Amex specifies what the amount should be in other currencies, since if not you would assume there would be some variation probably anywhere from 70 to 100 EUR.
