I had an IB flight booked from MAD connecting to DUB. When the IB flight was T5 at the time of booking, the connection time on the ticket was 1 hr 10 mins. Since IB have moved to T3 they contacted me by email to rebook as 1 hr 10 minutes is too short in their eyes. I was a bit surprised by this as I have done it in 30 minutes but the agent said 1 hr 20 minutes is preferred on tickets. Not sure if this is true or not but worked in my favour to give me a longer connection time in the long run on my new ticket
