Hyatt globalist breakfast coupons, tipping question

At a US Hyatt Regency that offers breakfast coupons for globalist breakfast. Nevermind that they don't seem to know how many tickets to give me...at check in was given four coupons for our stay with 2 adults + 2 kids for four nights, then the restaurant said I would need 1 coupon per person, then back at the front desk they said it should have been 1 coupon for 2 adults and the kids may or may not need another one.

Anyway, the main point of contention has to do with tipping. Servers informed us that gratuity was not included when using the coupon, so we tipped $13 (approx 18%) which has now appeared on our folio. Should I continue to do this for the rest of the days and then attempt to wipe it out at checkout? Suck it up and not do anything after check out? Be proactive and inquire about it before checkout?

Just curious...I have no qualms about being charged any extra tips I might add beyond whatever is considered standard, but having to pay a full tip every morning does seem to merit some questioning. At the same time I don't want the servers to be stiffed, immediately or after the fact. Thanks for your thoughts!
