Class of service bonus counts towards status.

No minimum miles. Did you know the SQ website has an accrual calculator?

Yes 25% elite bonus is only for SQ, VS and MI (Silk Air) operated flights; although some have reported success on SQ codeshares too (of which there are quite a lot in NZ see SQ codeshare thread) but YMMV.
