The food was -- unfortunately -- quite disappointing. Some of the starters (foie gras w/ lentils, tuna salad) were quite good by sheer virtue of the freshness of the ingredients. But the mains or other more "prepared" dishes (e.g. the seafood soup, short ribs) were so salty as to be inedible.
That’s unfortunate. Sounds like there is some inconsistency at Casa Amate. I had those dishes and didn’t think they were salty at all. I’m very sensitive and adverse to excess salt. Hopefully they made up for it.
