You're not going to get anywhere near IB+ status with one return from South America to Europe, but it's the safest way to earn Avios. No idea about LATAM Pass.
Sorry -- I just saw what you meant. I had to look under "British Airways - codeshare flights" for some reason, and not under IB. Absolutely right. I'll have to credit under IB Plus, or maybe look into LA Pass option.
