There were no check in desks at BER, just baggage drop off counters. A Lufthansa staff member stood beside me and helped me use an automated check in kiosk. Really frustrated because the flight was booked via Singapore Airlines direct through their website and I don't think everyone appreciates that the first flight (which had a Singapore Airlines flight number) would be operated by another airline.

When my boarding pass was not recognized at the boarding gate, the staff at the gate looked up my baggage tag, which showed me on a BER - FRA - SIN booking.

So is there any possible explanation why two separate Singapore Airlines Frankfurt (via Philippine call center) agents would say that the bag was in Singapore when it was not? Really incredulous where they got that information and why they would give it.

Also would appreciate if anyone knows how exactly to get the flight delay certificate from Lufthansa.
