Hi, I have an upcoming 9 hour long layover in Doha. Unfortunately, due to a recent injury I also had to request wheelchair assistance on the Qatar Airways website.

Does anyone know how wheelchair assistance works for my transit? Will I just be immediately wheeled to my next departure gate and left there for 9 hours? Will it be possible to keep the wheelchair with me for the entire duration so that I can move around a bit? I don't need anyone to be with me - I can wheel myself fine.
