LH operated the first flight that got delayed. They should be the one liable. It's less about who ticketed the flights.
The LH aircrew kept saying they were aware almost everyone on the plane to FRA had a connecting flight, but they had no information on connections.

The worst thing that SQ did was the agent telling you the baggage was on the way to SIN in the original flight. I doubt the phone agent would know that.
I called Singapore Airlines Frankfurt customer service TWICE (getting their Philippine call center) and two separate agents insisted my suitcase was already in Singapore. Again, can anyone explain why they would make this up?

OP, where did you get your passport stamped by German Bundespolizei?
Yes, passport stamped in Frankfurt.

I've been trying to call Singapore Airlines to at least confirm they know where my bag is for three days, and I cannot get a response. Does anyone know what to do?

Also, does anyone know how to get a certificate of the flight delay from Lufthansa? I can't figure out how from their website and Singapore Airlines says they can't help.
