An associate was reported by his dr to the list. I assume he was reported because he tested positive in CA, but lives in another state so could be considered someone who would try to travel (the subjective part).

He’ll likely have his all-clear letter Friday. CDC says removes in 24 hours. I assume that’s business days so Monday. He’s going to try to get a BP Tuesday and see. The two-week sweep seems to me it could be as late as the 22 or 23rd.

He has a trip he doesn’t want to miss on 27th.

I’m rather skeptical this will all happen as hoped. But shall see. CDC does have a contact number and the patient will get a copy of the all-clear letter. The continual testing of the system with a refundable ticket seems what he probably needs to do. The CDC appears to not want people on the list when they don’t belong there. I, otoh, don’t always expect things to go so smoothly and would suggest he be as prepared as possible for things to go awry.

In a group of frequent flyers, I was hoping to find someone who could report back - yes, off the list in 24 hours; no, was a nightmare be prepared for xyz and so on.
