Hi there, when searching Timatic rules through the Emirates for instance https://www.emirates.com/english/bef...t-information/ you often find wordings like these:

• Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be valid for the period of intended stay.
• Passports and other travel documents accepted for entry are considered valid until the day before the expiration date.

which apparently go against the standard "6 months from departure date" passport validity rule.

Would you rely on this if you had a borderline expiration coming up? So far I never found confirmation on the Foreign Affairs Ministry web sites of the countries I checked. I suppose airlines look at these but border agents might think differently...
