Two long-haul flights back to back? Is this crazy?
So I need a sanity check... I have an award booking to New Zealand next year with Qatar in business (I believe its supposed to be with Qsuites).
But now I'm questioning if the itinerary is crazy (about 35 hours of total travel time). The first flight from the U.S. to Doha is nearly 14 hours long. Then I'd have a 2.5-hour layover in Doha before taking a nearly 18-hour flight (with a 1.5-hour technical stop in ADL).
Has anyone done an itinerary like this? Will I be completely miserable and extremely jet-lagged when I finally land in Auckland at 1am?
