I’m a former Special Victims prosecutor, and I can’t leave malarkey like this unchallenged. Human trafficking IS a huge problem, but most of it is not privileged children being kidnapped from airports. The vast majority of trafficked persons are from vulnerable populations like immigrants, LGBTQ+, the physically and mentally challenged, etc. Airports ARE a place where human trafficking occurs/victims are transported/imported, but not usually kidnapping little kids off planes. This sort of “Q” type propaganda actually harms real victims by distorting the public’s perception of real dangers and diverting resources from the places where they are needed. Your 12 year old is, in my experience (as backed up by statistics) much less safe at church camp or school (or on the internet!) than in the secure side of an airport by themselves.
