Alaska and AA are unique partners in that they are able to book each other’s metal using variable priced awards, which BA does not have access to. The fare class you are looking for on expert flyer would be T for Y and U for J. Additionally, most saver fares on Alaska are 5k for short hops and 12.5k for longer ones if you use their own award search engine in Econ. For J, it’s easy to search for by turning on upgrades while you are searching a paid ticket and looking for filled in F boxes indicating there is U space available on that segment.
hope this helps
