It won't hurt to try to call them or try using the app if you tried doing this online or vice-versa (usually does the trick when selecting seats, meals, etc). Honestly, though, I would be worried about the SFO-AMS segment because the few flights with KLM I've had so far, my Indian colleague sometimes did not get the AVML option that was pre-selected before even in J when flying from NA. This has been a larger hit-or-miss depending on the number of people who order it and that you should be fine for AMS-BLR.
