Share prices reflect the future, and if you go looking for bad news, there is lots to find. Especially economically. Rising inflation hurts everyone, consumers have less money for holidays and also less money for other purchanses, which in turns hurts businesses who will cull things like business travel when they too need to make savings.

At a personal level I was thinking about booking a long haul Asia holiday for next Jan/Feb....but then looking at how the covid numbers are jumping up here in the UK, makes me very wary. It's not the actual covid that worries me, more the risk of the return of lockdowns/isolation etc etc in some parts of Asia!
