Oh yes, I'm aware of why the price is high. Doesn't match value to me. I think I ran some numbers for my in-laws - could get a car & driver & very nice hotels for about half the price along the river, but of course, being on the river is why you spend the money. Or in a small boat along the coast. Or whatever the reason you're paying to travel with American Cruise Lines....
