LOT Polish flights cancellations, rerouting and compensation

Hi fellow travellers! A long time lurker here. Seeing your guidance and wisdom please.

I booked GOT-WAW-ICN (and return) for July and August, but LO cancelled GOT-WAW flights with no explanation. It’s a bit odd that LO website doesn’t show the cancellation but it shows in my SAS app.

Anyway, I called the customer service over the phone (the main Polish line). Reached some agents. Gave the reference number. They could see the cancellation from their end, but they were unable to book me from GOT to WAW until September. Didn’t know why all cancelled and rejected to offer any compensation.

So I suggested rerouting from other nearby cities or even anywhere in Europe (I’m currently based elsewhere, not GOT). They checked and confirmed some availability of my suggested routes. and then told me to hold for another colleague to assist. Then over 1 hour of waiting, nobody picked up and the call dropped.

I filled in the online flight rerouting form as well and I got the automated confirmation email of the request. But no sign of any timeline and the flights are in a bit over two weeks. By then my rerouting suggestion may not be relevant anymore.

Is this a normal customer service at LOT Polish? Any suggestions for reaching willing agents to help out?

The flights are Z class and I have *G with another airline.
