I feel like this might be the best place to ask, I have a SQ flight booked on points but noticed the same flight with an additional leg is for the same amount of points, is this something they will allow me to do to change my intial booking and will there be a charge? Thanks
All award rates on SQ went up today (July 5) by an average of 10-15% so any changes to an award booking - except for a date change only, and then only depending on availibility - would be repriced at the new rate. Normally, another flight within the same region could be added but not always, even if showing availability. For example AAA-BBB and BBB-CCC maybe separately available but AAA-CCC not available so you would need to ring if you have an existing booking. Wait times have been long but there are reports that calls are been answered faster just lately.
