If nothing else, call UA and ask an agent to book the class you want.
Google flights shows that bags cost €130 extra, and when I click through to UA, I get the highlighted BASIC ECONOMY” warning.
When I edit the flight on UA, it stops showing the LH flight number and only the codeshare. From google, i can only add a maximum of one carryon bag, so the price doesn’t change.
I’ll give UA a call, sometimes the codeshare works out, sometimes it doesn’t. A few years ago when US was still in *A, I booked a US codeshare flight on UA metal for $150, the same UA flight number was $500.
