Did the agent try to link it herself first, or did she go straight to the manager? The agent at JFK gave it a shot herself and when she couldn't do it, she had me go to the other end of the check in counters, had a short wait in line, before the manager did the linking.
I'm not sure if she tried it herself but she did go to the manager rather quickly. She took my passport and e-ticket printout so I just had to wait.
