I'm flying back home from Hungary and I bought my dad one of those old-timey souvenir lighters with a flint and a striker.

I read on emirates website that a lighter is allowed to be carried only on one's person and not in the checked or carry on luggage.
My lighter is basically just a prop at this point but I wanted to ask if anyone has carried a lighter on an emirates flight and if so, do they give you any problems for carrying it in your person? If anyone has carried a lighter on an emirates flight successfully, could you please tell me if you carried it on your person or in the luggage? Thank you for your help.
