No, and I just re-checked the activities list and it isn't there, evening activities include Sunset fishing, night snorkeling and a dolphin quest - plus a whole yoga schedule. However, the little Griffin's club was doing some kind of children's cartoons one evening for a few kids (we went in just before dinner, they were staying, I presume to give parents some time off). So there may be an option to drop the little ones off for a cartoon or children's movie, but not really to watch as a family.

The winds caused rough seas and we weren't able to get onto the dive boat at the JW as a result. I'm unsure of how common this was. There is a sheltered harbour behind the hotel (sunrise side), that had the boats tied up, but the boat wasn't willing to pick us up from the Jetty. I presume that means that the dive sites (30 minutes or so away on a dhow) were either not sheltered, or the boat wouldn't be pleasant getting so far out. Apparently the boat captains are fairly cautious about undertaking risky sailing, which is fair enough. I didn't feel the need to push this too much, as it affected 2 days of potential diving for us, but we'd already done two days before already, and had an option of a further day that we declined as we were "dived out".

Enjoy your trip!
