I think I'm just discovering my inner travelling nerd - I've recently become obsessed about my flights from Sydney (SYD) - Manchester (MAN) and Manchester (MAN) - Melbourne (MEL) and now as a result CX in general haha

I sprung $800AUD to upgrade my flights to premium economy. First of all was this a good deal? I've done it now haha but just curious! I was going to wait til the airport but on one of the flights there was only 1 seat left so thought it best not to risk it! Are Cathay flights back to 100% full now?

One of the flights is on the 777-ER (77A according to the seat layout), one is on the A350-900 and the others I think are A350-1000? I was wondering where is best to sit on these flights? I was going to book the front row window seat but am worried that someone with a baby will have the other with the bassinet... any thoughts? For one of the flights I'm at the rear of the cabin in the window seat so I don't have to care who's behind me when reclining.

Also do we know if all the 777s have been retrofitted with the new seats now or have some still got the old design?
