Real benefit, probably not. But I've found in big cities in Italy there's some sort of artificial/soft benefit when the host/maitre'd/whoever greets you and says "ah, you're mr. such and such from
that hotel" -- doesn't really do anything for me, but sometimes wife or guests get a kick out of that kind of thing. I'm also not too fussed about what table I have where, but maybe in theory a concierge could arrange an above-average table. If I'm out with wife & kid, the concierge can make sure there's a high chair set up or whatnot, so that's useful.
