Plus it's two A319s with 8 F seats so not great odds anyway.
Edited to add: I was wrong; it now shows "REQUESTED" for Upgrade Status for both flights. I had forgotten that sometimes it takes a few hours or maybe a day after making a reservation for it to show up.
Now I'm wishing we were on an A321 with 16 or 20 F seats. LOL.
I didn't realize it took so long for the upgrade requested label to show up on AA flight reservations--I just booked an AA trip (on AA.com) and with my 75K MP # it of course allowed me to select MCE seating but the upgrade requested isn't showing up right away. I'm just use to Alaska bookings where "First Class Waitlisted" shows up almost immediately. How long are most people seeing that it takes to show up on AA? I'm assuming it's just a IT delay of some sort.
