Thanks to everyone for their replies - as it stands I am stuck with the early AM departure, as Mrs. Murm and the MiniMurm's would like me at home Wed night. I'll just tiptoe out the front door at 0430h and hope I don't wake anyone . . .

Point taken about DCA screening (done that many times over in T2, including the extra-looooooong walk to the gate, thankfully there's a couple of defibrillator stations along the way when the chest pain develops!) but this trip is to the PIT.
