Ok I’m a bit upset. There was a fire in the kitchen and the dining car was not available between San Jose and Los Angeles. Lunch was a 6” veg sub w cookie and chips. My choice of BLT never materialized. Can’t wait to see what my crab cakes, steak and cheesecake dinner get replaced with!!! My guess is pizza. I booked this roomette for the experience and the dining car was a major part of that. I had no reason to go to LA, indeed I had to get a flight back to San Fran. Came from CANADA to do the train. What is reasonable compensation?
