Same exact experience here. Called right away when the news came out and was told I'd the get 747 version, instead got the purple. Now Trying both the app and online the two options under change card design are showing the purple card and are for either a Metal version or 70% recycled plastic. No options for selecting the 747 version. Anyone else seeing that?

Edit: Called CS to ask about sending the 747 card as I received the purple, they said they no longer have the option to request it. For new applicants only. ....even though I requested it on the 16th and somehow got the purple. They said something about some disclaimer somewhere about not all cardmembers will receive new card designs when asking for "new card design" as an option. Which, of course makes no sense at all. It was a foreign call center so maybe there was a bit of a language barrier. I'll call back and see if I can get a different result but I'm not holding my breath. Congrats to those who actually got what they asked for...

Edit 2: HUCA and got a different agent, much more helpful. Was put on hold and they did some checking, acknowledged that a request was indeed submitted for the new 747 card on the 16th. System was timing out for her on a new request so she created a CS case and will elevate for manual processing. HUCA is always the answer. Hope this one works out.
