Yes, this isn’t BA being deliberately sexist
Yes, it does show a poor approach to testing and thinking things through
BA’s IT is so bad we shouldn’t be surprised these things crop up (weeks of downtime for upgrades that have multiple bugs, 2004 style interfaces at times, iPad apps that had to be withdrawn etc., haven’t had a FLY outage for at least a few weeks I think)

This is an airline that invested in getting Viscount, Countess etc. in as titles in their systems. And they fired the intern who kept loading those great mistake fares, the most value creation they’ve managed in a while (RIP Tequila, Viking etc.)
