Marriott Macon, GA [Master Thread]
Just had a one night stay here. I couldn't survive the whole night and left after midnight. The pillows were like rocks, so was the mattress. The room was sufficiently cold but extremely muggy, think 68F with 90% humidity. I was told that the A/C system was old so does not remove humidity as well. Easily the most uncomfortable hotel I've stayed at. Checkin was OK, but their computers were down during checkout. It took 5 phone calls to get a folio emailed. No room service, no lounge. Everything was dated and in a desperate state of disrepair, both furnitures and carpeting in rooms and common areas alike. The hotel had a roadside motel vibe, not even Fairfield Inn level accommodations. Just do yourself a favor and drive another hour to much better Marriott's and other Bonvoy Properties in Metro Atlanta.
