Loganair to Southampton has seats. You might even manage to get BA to put you on it . From there you can take a train to Woking onto Railair coach for Heathrow (or go directly into London for your plans there - something like Stasher or Radical storage is good if you need to store your luggage for a while)

Anyway fingers crossed it doesn't come to that and you have a great trip!
