No, they don't. Full stop. There is no such requirement, there are no security facilities for arriving pax, and they are not compelled to go through transit security (for whatever reason). They may try if they wish, and get away with it if they are not asked for a boarding card for their connecting flight, but nobody is going to make them do so.
