I have no experience with coming from an unsecure country and thus having to go through security airside to connect let's say to the USA. I am just wondering: where does this security screening take place? Because once you are off the plane and out of the gate area, where would they catch you if you are coming from let's say ACC? Or is there security at the gate upon arrival? Just curious
