Maybe, though I don't think that works well in practice. I added my Canadian spouse to my card as an authorized user so she has a physical card too (Chase uses the same exact account number for AUs, as opposed to say Amex). We added the card to her Apple Pay but transactions get declined about 50-60% of the time when she uses her phone (then I'll use my phone with the same card loaded on it and it works no issue). Then anytime I want to call Chase after that I get patched immediately to the fraud department to "verify" everything. So there may be some additional security checks in play with the digital wallet.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the digital wallet exclusion is standard boiler plate language since I've seen references to them in other T&Cs for other promos. Guess we'll find out in a week once these charges start posting onto accounts.
