Remember you mainly hear horror stories. No one starts a thread to say the service was good and nothing went wrong.
Thanks for sharing your experience, that's good to hear. I'll be flying LHR-MXP in late afternoon, so weary of the traffic buildup throughout the day.
Admittedly I'm not flying till mid Aug, so situation (hopefully?) will improve marginally by then
