OK, let's hope they will get us on board with low(er) fares then.
I already gave them my feed-back with the plastic thingy I carry in my wallet.

I am afraid they don't know the effects of their decisions and marketing direction. They are only about to find out. We are all about to find out. If it works out and only then I am willing to give anybody a credit for anything.

Of course they know. People on FT seem to think that they are the allmighty aviation consultants... When UAL posted their changes all hell broke loose and people claimed it wouldn't last long, claiming the changes would be reverted, well, they never were and UAL is still flying.

Same will happen with BA. The amount of people that care enough about miles to quit the airline is minimal and probably all confined to the people that post here on FT. Quite frankly most REAL frequent flyers don't give a **** about miles. If they make enough miles to take their familiy on a nice trip once or twice a year then they are happy. These are the people that bring in the cash, not the infrequent mileage collectors FT has. Someone that forks over $100k+ a year to BA has other things on his/her mind. It's time people on FT begin to realise that the average poster here is nothing like the majority of pax.
