My friend is on vacation in Ireland. She flew Air Canada out of Pearson and they lost her luggage with her daughter's medicine. She filled out an Air Tracer form, but her daughter really needs that medicine and the luggage has some valuable items. Her luggage never made it on the flight and is still somewhere in the Pearson airport. Air Canada has been less than no help. In the ridiculous event that someone checks his/her medicine. Starting with not reading the instructions on the booking. Where is is stated black on white that medicines should never be checked...
Bottom line: one can complain about luggage getting delayed, sure. But never because medicines got delayed. Checking them is utterly foolish.
(Not that I don't feel sorry for her.)
