If I take hand baggage, BA are far more generous on the size of the bag allowed (56 x 45 x 25cm) compared to AA's (56 x 36 x 23cm). My bag is exactly the dimensions for BA.
So, am I likely to get a problem on the domestic legs or do I simply show them the BA ticket details and assume the check in staff should know the rules?
I'm Silver/Sapphire if it makes a difference, but travelling in Y.
Data point from flying AA domestic route last week. I don't know what the rules are but I had an issue with my BA compliant bag on my PHL - CLT flight. I argued the toss and got away with it but I suspect I was in the wrong.
