FWIW, I was rerouted Sunday night with a connection and the connection was cancelled. I was provided the automated hotel and $15 food voucher. That's my total reimbursement so far to arrive home 48 hours late.
Both cancels were crew related.
I have two other much older requests in via the website with zero response.
Nice. However, weather-related cancellations mean jack for DL, which had happened to me twice in YYZ on separate occassions. Blew $600 for both stays at the Sheraton because AA, UA, and WS booked people on their cancelled flights to the cheaper hotels in the area. When I tried calling them, they said "We don't control the weather so it's not our responsibility for that."
