Are you sure? I had always thought that you can only mix airlines on one award if all of the airlines involved in that redemption were in *A (and Alaska is not in *A). In this case, if redeeming using KF miles, the redemption award chart for Alaska is limited to US domestic flights only; there is no redemption award for US - Asia in the Alaska chart.
